Born in 1972, received his M.S. degree in Computer Science in 1994 and his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 1997. His main research interests are in the fields of: fuzzy logic controllers, fuzzy rule-based systems, fuzzy modelling, fuzzy rule base learning using meta-heuristics, specially evolutionary algorithms; fuzzy classification, and combination of fuzzy logic and genetic algorithms.
