The objectives of
the present project are:

To develop techniques
and algorithms that allow to increase the spatial resolution of
an image from a low resolution compress video sequence by Bayesian
techniques.

To develop techniques
and algorithms that allow to increase the spatial resolution of
a video sequence from a low resolution compress video sequence by
Bayesian techniques.

To do a comparative
research of the proposed algorithms on the areas of telecommunications,
mainly television, and video surveillance.

To develop a software
application that integrates the proposed methods and algorithms.
This application should be the base of an implementation on a DSP
and real time of some of the proposed algorithms. The obtained tool
will be ease to integrate, with the corresponding modifications,
on different environments.
