How to Arrive


 
 
You can reach directly either Madrid or Barcelona airports from almost any other country, and also Malaga airport from some of them.

There are several daily flights from Madrid and Barcelona to Granada. You can also go from Madrid to Granada by bus or train. We recommend the comfortable and chiper bus which have more departs, it takes 4.45 hours.

Barcelona only is recommended if you think to make the Barcelona-Granada Trip by plane.

There is a bus line from Malaga to Granada. Trip takes one hour and a half, and a new bus departs each hour.

From Madrid airport to Granada airport (by plane)
 

Once in Madrid-Barajas airport, go walking to national departures area. There are three regular flights to Granada, operated by Iberia. Flight takes 55 minutes. You can see here a timetable for these three flights:

From Barcelona airport to Granada airport (by plane)
 

Once in Barcelona-El Prat airport, go walking to national departures area. There are three regular flights to Granada, operated by Iberia. Flight takes 1 hour and 10 minutes. You can see here a timetable for these three flights:

From Malaga airport to Granada center town (by Bus)
 

Take the bus which goes from Malaga's Airport to Malaga's center town. This bus leaves every 30 minutes, from 6:00 to 23:00, and its price is 130 pts. Leave the bus at Malaga's central bus station.

Once in Malaga's bus station take the bus to Granada. This line is served by the company named Alsina Graells (red and white buses). The trip takes 2 hours, and its price is 1165 pts. Departures at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:30, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, 21:00. This bus arrives to Granada's central bus station.

Once there, take the city bus (line number 3) to Center of Granada and take off it in the Cathedral Stop.
 

From Madrid airport to Granada center town (by bus)
 

Once in Madrid-Barajas airport, you can take airport bus (one each 15 minutes) to Plaza de Colon (last stop), then subway to Sur bus station. Bus to Granada costs 1,950 pts. There is a lot of daily departs. Trips takes 4.45 hours.

Once in Granada bus station, take city bus (line number 3) to Center of Granada and take off it in the Cathedral Stop.
 
 

From Madrid airport to Granada center town (by Talgo Train)
 

Once in Madrid-Barajas airport, you can take airport bus (one each 15 minutes) to Plaza de Colon (last stop), then subway to Atocha train station. Talgo train to Granada costs 3,300 pts (tourist class) or 4,300 pts (first class). There is a daily train. It departs at 08:18 on Saturdays, or at 15:45 all other days. Trips takes 5 hours. Once in Granada train station, take some city bus to Center of Granada (every bus goes to Center) and take off it in the Cathedral Stop.
